For those of you who don’t know what this is, Camp NaNo is an online camp devoted to writing. The normal NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month, and you have one month to write 50k words. For non-writers, let me tell you, that is a lot of words.
But Camp NaNoWriMo is a smaller version of that. Instead of having to write 50k, you get to set your own word goal and try to reach that instead. It goes on in the months of April and July every year.
I personally entered both months. In April, I set my word goal to 20k, but I only made it to about 10k. So now, in July, I set my word goal to 10k instead, and I have in fact made it. I have officially beat Camp NaNoWriMo! *grins*
Here is my reward:
Not much, but I’m happy with the satisfaction of knowing that I have in fact beat Camp NaNo. I don’t about y’all, but I’ll be doing it again next year.
If you want to sign up, go to campnanowrimo.org or nanowrimo.org before the months of November, April, or July.
